MC20 Cielo · May 15, 2026
Open-Air Perfection — Maserati MC20 Cielo Review
The Maserati MC20 Cielo takes everything that makes the Coupe brilliant and adds the magic of open-air driving. The retractable hardtop folds in just 12 seconds and can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h. The electrochromic smart glass roof is a party trick that never gets old — clear for starlight, opaque for shade. Despite the 65 kg weight penalty, the Cielo still hits 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds. The Nettuno V6 sounds even more intoxicating with the roof down. The chassis retains its razor-sharp handling thanks to the carbon fiber monocoque's inherent stiffness. Inside, the Cielo adds heated seats and the 12-speaker Sonus faber audio system, making it more of a grand tourer than the hardcore Coupe. The active noise cancellation ensures serene cruising with the roof up. At ₹5.35 Crore ex-showroom, the Cielo is significantly more expensive than the Coupe. But for those who want the ultimate open-air supercar experience with a roof that transforms at the touch of a button, nothing else combines Italian flair, F1 technology, and open-top drama quite like this.

Modena's Masterpiece — Maserati MC20 Review
The Maserati MC20 is nothing less than a rebirth of the Italian supercar. The Nettuno V6 is a masterpiece — 630 PS from 3.0 liters with F1-derived pre-chamber combustion technology. The 0-100 km/h sprint in 2.9 seconds is delivered with a ferocious intensity that pins you into the carbon fiber Monocoque seats. The 8-speed DCT cracks off shifts with rifle-bolt precision. The carbon fiber monocoque is the star — under 1,500 kg kerb weight gives the MC20 a power-to-weight ratio of 428 PS/tonne. The steering is telepathic, the mechanical LSD puts power down beautifully, and the Corsa mode with Launch Control is devastatingly effective. Visually, the MC20 is stunning — butterfly doors, active rear spoiler, and those 20"/21" forged wheels. Inside, it is minimalist Italian elegance — Alcantara, carbon fiber, and a 10.25" digital cluster with lap timer and G-force meter. The Sonus faber audio is sublime. At ₹3.68 Crore ex-showroom, the MC20 undercuts the Ferrari 296 GTB and Lamborghini Huracan while offering a unique character — more refined than a Lambo, more exotic than a McLaren. This is Maserati's finest hour.
